Mardi Himal Trek

The Mardi Himal Trek is a spectacular journey into one of the quieter corners of the Annapurna region, offering an exceptional combination of lush forests, traditional mountain villages and dramatic Himalayan landscapes.

The trail gradually climbs from Pokhara through Kande, Pitam Deurali and Low Camp toward High Camp and Mardi Base Camp at approximately 4,500 metres, with magnificent views of Mardi Himal, Machapuchare, Annapurna South and the surrounding peaks.

Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu. Take time to rest, settle in and prepare for your journey toward the Annapurna region.

DAY 02

Kathmandu to Pokhara

Travel from Kathmandu to Pokhara by tourist deluxe bus. The scenic journey follows Nepal's countryside, rivers and rolling hills before reaching Pokhara, the gateway to the Annapurna region.

Pokhara to Kande & Trek to Pitam Deurali

Drive from Pokhara to Kande, the starting point of the trek. Walk through terraced hillsides, rhododendron and mixed forests toward Pitam Deurali, where the trail begins to reveal beautiful views across the Annapurna landscape.

Pitam Deurali to Low Camp

Continue deeper into the Mardi Himal wilderness as the trail climbs through dense rhododendron and mountain forest. As the altitude increases, the landscape gradually opens toward magnificent views of Machapuchare and the Annapurna range.

DAY 05

Low Camp to High Camp

4–5 Hours Trek 3,580 m

Trek above the tree line toward High Camp. The forest gradually gives way to open alpine terrain, creating increasingly dramatic views of Mardi Himal, Machapuchare, Annapurna South and the surrounding peaks.

High Camp to Mardi Base Camp & Badal Danda

7–8 Hours Highest Point 4,500 m

HIGHEST 4,500 m

NIGHT 3,250 m

Start early for the spectacular climb toward Mardi Base Camp at approximately 4,500 m. Enjoy panoramic views of the Annapurna range, Machapuchare and the surrounding Himalayan peaks before descending toward Badal Danda for the night.

DAY 07

Badal Danda to Siding & Drive to Pokhara

6–7 Hours Trek + Jeep 1,750 m

DESCENT −1,500 m

Descend through forests and traditional mountain settlements toward Siding village. From Siding, continue by shared jeep toward Pokhara and return to the comfortable lakeside atmosphere after completing the main trekking section.

DAY 08

Pokhara to Kathmandu

ROUTE Pokhara → Kathmandu

Travel back from Pokhara to Kathmandu by deluxe tourist bus. Enjoy the changing landscapes of central Nepal before arriving back in the capital and settling into your hotel.
