ITINERARY & MAP
MARDI HIMAL TREK ITINERARY
Day 1:
Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. Spend the day acclimating to the altitude and exploring the vibrant city. You may visit cultural landmarks such as Swayambhunath Stupa or Kathmandu Durbar Square.
Day 2:
Tourist Deluxe Bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara
Travel from Kathmandu to Pokhara by Tourist Deluxe Bus. The journey takes around 6-7 hours, offering scenic views of the countryside and river valleys. Arrive in Pokhara and enjoy the serene lakeside atmosphere.
Day 3:
Drive from Pokhara to Kande - Trek to Pitam Deurali
Drive from Pokhara to Kande, which takes about 1.5 hours. Begin your trek to Pitam Deurali, a journey of approximately 5-6 hours. The trail ascends through forests and terraced fields. Arrive at Pitam Deurali and stay overnight.
Day 4:
Trek from Pitam Deurali to Low Camp
Trek from Pitam Deurali to Low Camp, a trek of around 5-6 hours. As you climb, enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding peaks and lush landscapes. Overnight at Low Camp in a local teahouse.
Day 5:
Trek from Low Camp to High Camp
Continue your trek from Low Camp to High Camp, which takes approximately 4-5 hours. The ascent offers spectacular views of Mardi Himal and Machapuchare. Stay overnight at High Camp, where you can enjoy breathtaking mountain vistas.
Day 6:
Trek from High Camp to Mardi Base Camp- Trek Down to Badal Danda
Early in the morning, trek to Mardi Base Camp (4500m), taking in panoramic views of the Annapurna range. Afterward, trek down to Badal Danda (3250m) for the night, covering about 7-8 hours in total.
Day 7:
Trek Down from Badal Danda to Siding - Shared Jeep to Pokhara (827m)
Descend from Badal Danda to Siding, a trek of approximately 6-7 hours. From Siding, take a shared jeep back to Pokhara. Arrive in Pokhara and relax after your trek.
Day 8:
Deluxe Tourist Bus from Pokhara to Kathmandu (1400m)
Travel back to Kathmandu by Deluxe Tourist Bus, which takes around 6-7 hours. Once in Kathmandu, enjoy your evening exploring the city or relaxing after your journey.
Day 9:
Final Departure or Onward for Next Program
Prepare for your departure and transfer to the airport. If time permits, you can explore more of Kathmandu or enjoy last-minute shopping before your flight home or onward travel.
