ITINERARY & MAP
ANNAPURNA CIRCUIT TREK ITINERARY
Day 1:
Kathmandu
Tour guide will come to brief about the trek and collect nessery documents for example passport size photos, insurance details etc.
Day 2:
Drive from Kathmandu to Dharapani
Take a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Dharapani, which takes approximately 9- 10 hours. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you travel through picturesque villages and terraced fields. Overnight in Dharapani.
Day 3:
Dharapani to Chame
We start our trek today from Dharapani to Chame, which takes about 6-7 hours. Chame is the administrative center of the Manang District and provides stunning views of the surrounding peaks. Overnight in Chame.
Day 4:
Trek from Chame to Upper Pisang
Trek from Chame to Upper Pisang, a journey of approximately 6-7 hours. The trail offers breathtaking views of the Annapurna range and the unique architecture of Upper Pisang. Spend the night in Upper Pisang.
Day 5:
Trek from Upper Pisang to Manang
Continue your trek from Pisang to Manang, which takes around 7-9 hours. Manang is a high-altitude village where you’ll have the opportunity to acclimate and explore the local area. Overnight in Manang.
Day 6:
Acclimatization Day in Manang
Take a rest day in Manang to acclimate to the higher altitude. Explore the village, visit local monasteries, or take a short hike to aid acclimatization and prepare for the upcoming high-altitude trek.
Day 7:
Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka
Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka, a journey of about 4-5 hours. As you ascend, the landscape becomes more rugged and high-altitude. Overnight in Yak Kharka.
Day 8:
Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi
Continue your trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi, taking approximately 4-5 hours. Thorong Phedi is the base for the ascent to Thorong La Pass. Overnight in Thorong Phedi.
Day 9:
Trek from Thorong Phedi via Thorong La Pass (5,416m) to Muktinath
Start early and trek from Thorong Phedi over Thorong La Pass, the highest point of the trek at 5,416 meters. The crossing takes about 7-9 hours and offers spectacular views. Descend to Muktinath, a sacred pilgrimage site, and overnight there.
Day 10:
Muktinath to Tatopani
We drive to Tatopani today which will be around 5 hours. There is a natural hotspring here where we can relax our tired legs and body and relax the whole afternoon. Overnight at a guest house..
Day 11:
Drive to Pokhara
Take a drive from Tatopani to Pokhara, a journey of about 5hrs hours. Enjoy the rest of the day relaxing in the serene lakeside city of Pokhara.
Day 12:
Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu
Travel back to Kathmandu by either a 6-7 hour drive or a short flight. Spend the evening exploring the city, shopping, or relaxing.
Day 13:
Departure
Prepare for your departure and transfer to the airport for your flight home. If time allows, enjoy some final sightseeing or shopping in Kathmandu before he -ading to the airport.
