MANASLU BASE CAMP TREK ITINERARY
Day 01:
Arrive in Kathmandu
Arrive in Kathmandu, Nepal's bustling capital. Transfer to your hotel and meet your trekking team. Rest, relax, and prepare for the adventure ahead. Explore local sights or enjoy a leisurely evening in the city.
Day 02:
Sightseeing in Kathmandu and Trek Preparation
Spend the day sightseeing in Kathmandu, visiting landmarks such as Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) and Durbar Square. Use this time to finalize your trek preparations, including permits and gear.
Day 03:
Drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola (710 meters) 8-9 hours
Embark on a scenic drive through the Nepalese countryside to Soti Khola. Enjoy views of terraced fields, rivers, and traditional villages along the way. Soti Khola is the starting point of your trek.
Day 04:
Trek from Soti Khola to Machha Khola (869 meters) 6-9 hours
Begin your trek, crossing suspension bridges and traversing through lush forests and terraced fields. Follow the path along the Budi Gandaki River to reach Machha Khola, a small village named after the fish in the river.
Day 05:
Trek from Machha Khola to Jagat (1,349 meters) 6-7 hours
Continue your journey through picturesque landscapes and local settlements. Ascend gradually to reach Jagat, a village with a blend of cultural influences and stunning natural surroundings.
Day 06:
Trek from Jagat to Deng (1,860 meters) 6-7 hours
Trek through scenic valleys and cross several suspension bridges. As you ascend, you'll experience changing flora and fauna, arriving at Deng, a village known for its traditional charm and views.
Day 07:
Trek from Deng to Namrung (2,630 meters) 6-7 hours
Follow the trail through diverse terrain, including dense forests and open meadows. Reach Namrung, a village offering spectacular views of the surrounding peaks and a glimpse into Tibetan culture.
Day 08:
Trek from Namrung to Samagaon (3,520 meters) 6-7 hours
Ascend to Samagaon, the largest village in the Manaslu region. Enjoy the panoramic views of Manaslu and other nearby peaks. This is a key acclimatization stop, giving you time to adjust to the higher altitude.
Day 09:
Samagaon to Manaslu Base Camp and Return to Samagaon via Birendra Lake
Hike to Manaslu Base Camp for breathtaking views of the eighth-highest peak in the world. Visit Birendra Lake on the return journey, a serene high-altitude lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks, before heading back to Samagaon.
Day 10:
Trek from Samagaon to Samdo (3,860 meters) 4 hours
Trek to Samdo, a high-altitude village offering fantastic views and a chance to acclimatize further. The short trek today helps in adjusting to the increasing altitude.
Day 11:
Trek from Samdo to Dharmasala/Larkya Base Camp (4,460 meters) 4 hours
Continue your ascent to Dharmasala, also known as Larkya Base Camp. This is the last stop before crossing the Larkya La Pass, providing stunning views of the surrounding peaks.
Day 12:
Trek from Dharmasala to Larkya La (5,160 meters) and Descend to Bhimtang (3,720 meters) 8-9 hours
Cross the challenging Larkya La Pass, the highest point of the trek, offering panoramic views of the Himalayas. Descend to Bhimtang, a beautiful alpine plateau surrounded by majestic peaks.
Day 13:
Trek from Bhimtang to Tilije (2,300 meters) 5-6 hours
Descend through lush forests and scenic landscapes to reach Tilije, a village with traditional houses and a welcoming atmosphere.
Day 14:
Trek from Tilije to Chyamche (1,430 meters) 6 hours
Continue your descent to Chyamche, a village situated along the Marsyangdi River. The trek today offers beautiful river valley views and a chance to experience local rural life.
Day 15:
Trek from Chyamche to Bhulbhule (840 meters) 6 hours
Complete the final leg of your trek by walking to Bhulbhule. Enjoy the lush greenery and the sense of accomplishment as you reach the end of your trekking journey.
Day 16:
Drive back to Kathmandu. Farewell Dinner

Final Departure
